From here you can go further afield and explore various attractions Glamis Castle - 7 miles- Scone Palace - 20 miles. For the kids swimming pool -5 miles, cinema - 14 miles.  Public transport to Perth and Dundee passes the front of the house and can be boarded almost at the entrance.

Visit sites like Meigle museum with its Pictish stones (3miles), Glamis Castle (8miles), Scone Castle (18 miles) and many more interesting site within easy reach.

History

Use this as a base to set off on a selection of walks.  Alyth is situated on the Cateran Trail, so out the door and start your walk.  Or visit Glenshee, GlenIsla, Glenclova all within a 30 minute drive.
